Awesome, unique B&B experience near Creemore Ontario (just south
of Collingwood).
Dave & Ann have bought and refurbished an Ontario Northland
Caboose Rail Car and turned it into a private suite on their
property.
It's very clean and modern - cozy with a faux-wood oven
(electric), and full bathroom facilities. Even has satellite tv
(if that's your thing)
Dave is a real train buff and has gone to great extent to detail
the experience around trains. Breakfast is served in their
house, on original Canadian National Railway china.
Breakfast was delicious, especially the homefries! They have a
hot tub, and provide towels and robes - we didn't use it because
of the weather.
Overall it was an excellent B&B experience - lots of small
thoughtful detail, plus they drove us to and from dinner in
nearby Singhampton (at Haisai Restaurant & Bakery)
Will definitely recommend this B&B experience to friends - the
view from their property is stunning as well - they say you can
see for '100 miles' |
